What are Providers with Negotiated Fees and Contracts Called?

Providers that have negotiated fees with the health plan and have contracts to provide services at an agreed-upon fee at full payment are considered to be 'in-network' or 'contract providers'.

'Out-of-network' providers do not have these contracts and may charge higher fees. 'A PHO' (Physician Hospital Organization) and 'An IPA' (Independent Physician Association) are types of provider organizations but do not directly define providers with negotiated fees and contracts.
