英才兴‘宣’，红旅产业助力乡村振兴：宣城校区英语系暑期社会实践团队调研广德乡村振兴与红旅融合

On July 12th, the summer social practice team "Talent Promotes Xuan, Red Tourism Industry Boosts Rural Revitalization" from the English Department at the Xuancheng Campus of Anhui Normal University went to the Rural Revitalization Bureau and the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Guangde City to conduct interviews with relevant leaders in order to better understand the integration between the local red tourism industry and rural revitalization. \n\nAfter an hour-long bus ride, the team arrived at the Rural Revitalization Bureau, where they were received by Huang Wenwu, a member of the Xuancheng Municipal Political Consultative Conference and Deputy Director of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau. Huang expressed that in the current process of achieving the goal of rural revitalization in Guangde, it is essential to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation. We also learned that the Rural Revitalization Bureau has achieved good performance and results, with high satisfaction and increasing happiness and sense of gain among the people. In order to better consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation while effectively connecting with rural revitalization, Guangde City has customized assistance plans for each monitored household based on their actual situation and actively built platforms to collaborate with caring enterprises. Through preliminary visits and investigations, Guangde City has already released a "Hand in Hand" plan for 52 monitored households throughout the city. \n\nNext, we went to the Culture and Tourism Bureau to conduct in-depth interviews with Director Xiao and Director Wang. We learned that Guangde City has seized the opportunity of integrating transportation and tourism and vigorously implemented the construction of the "Bamboo Village Gallery" tourism scenic road. The main goal is to promote rural revitalization, create a demonstration zone that integrates convenient transportation, tourist attractions, modern agriculture, and cultural displays. "The tourism road is not only a convenient road but also an industrial road." Through the implementation of the "Bamboo Village Gallery" project, the roads have become smoother, the scenery more beautiful, and the villages more attractive. As a result, industries have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, flourishing. \n\nAll the local departments were very willing to communicate with us and were happy to provide us with relevant key data and materials. We conducted a symposium mainly based on interviews, and the directors patiently answered our questions. Through today's interviews, we have gained a better understanding of the policy measures, advantages, and disadvantages of the integration between the local red tourism industry and rural revitalization. \n\nIn the afternoon, we conducted household visits, distributed questionnaires, and investigated the understanding and attitudes of villagers towards the integration of the red tourism industry and rural revitalization. The survey results showed that the general public trusts the government and is willing to follow the country's lead, maintaining a positive attitude towards the red tourism industry. Finally, we interviewed a representative beneficiary of the development of the red tourism industry, Mr. Liu, who runs a homestay in Daliu Village. He expressed that the roads are wider, the environment is better, and there are more tourists, which has led to the development of farmhouse restaurants and homestays, promoting economic growth. \n\nDuring the research and interviews, the three groups achieved a high level of integration in various aspects. The interview group prepared well in advance, making the content of the interviews more in-depth and logical. The photography group worked hard to capture high-quality images, which effectively complemented the content that could not be expressed through written news and provided strong support for the news articles. The three groups of professional students communicated and integrated during the research process, and the team members became closer to this land in their hearts as they wanted to understand it better. A single word or a glance could lead to a tacit cooperation, effectively improving the quality of the work. \n\nThis summer social practice team from the English Department at the Xuancheng Campus conducted in-depth research on the excellent red family traditions and village culture in Sihexiang, Guangde, and applied their professional knowledge in practice, bringing a successful conclusion to the "Three Down to the Countryside" activity.
