SQ & TSE PQ Team CCR Analysis: Discrepancies and Next Steps
I wanted to provide an update on the different conclusions reached by the SQ and TSE PQ teams regarding the CCR issue and data analysis. \n\nIn SQ's analysis, we extensively examined the hard defect data for CCR in the first and second quarters of 2023. We prioritized brands with more than 30 defects for SSR (supplier reject rate) and more than 10 defects for DSR (defective sample rate, based on sampling data). Our findings showed that PQ gating is the primary driver of CCR defects, followed by the misbranded ASIN issue. To ensure alignment with TSE PQ's data, which is measured in parts per million (ppm), we converted our sampling data into ppm. Even after this conversion, we still arrived at the conclusion that PQ gating (10ppm) is the top driver, compared to the misbranded ASIN issue (9ppm). Please refer to the CCR comparison table for more details.\n\nOur next step is to clarify the calculation logic and method used by both teams, so that we can work towards a unified approach in addressing the CCR issue in the second half of the year.
