Disabling Outputs with nOE Pin: Understanding Hi-Z State and Limitations

The outputs can be turned off by using the output enable pin, nOE. When nOE is set to a high signal, all data outputs, including OF, are disabled. However, the data access and bus relinquish times are not fast enough to enable or disable the outputs while operating at full speed. The Hi-Z state of the output is meant to be used when there is no activity for extended periods of time.
