Vacuum Chamber Leak Detection: Identifying Gas Leaks Using Bubbles
Put a sample into a chamber that is filled with water. Then, tightly cover the chamber with a lid. Use the gas switch to manually release compressed air into the Venturi, which will create a vacuum inlet connected to the chamber. Adjust the level of vacuum with a gas regulator to create a vacuum environment for the sample. The difference in pressure between the inside and outside of the chamber will cause any gases in the space above the sample to escape. You can detect these leaks by observing a continuous stream of bubbles coming from the affected area.
