Intelligent Applications Impact on Healthy Human Capital: Evidence from China
The sudden emergence of infectious diseases poses a threat to the well-being of individuals, and taking measures to control known risk factors can help us prevent confusion and losses. This study utilizes a four-phase panel dataset that matches data from the China Family Panel Studies survey with robot data from prefecture-level cities to examine the impact of intelligent applications on the accumulation of healthy human capital and its underlying mechanism. The research reveals that while the use of intelligent applications may have negative effects on personal health, it can improve cognitive ability. The changes in income and employment structures were identified as the primary mechanisms driving the observed outcomes. The findings emphasize the importance of promoting healthy development, adopting a rational approach to intelligent application, and providing guidance for achieving balanced and sustainable growth.
