Jokowi: Indonesian President, Businessman, and Politician

Jokowi is the nickname of Joko Widodo, the current President of Indonesia. He was born on June 21, 1961 in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Before entering politics, Jokowi was a businessman and mayor of Surakarta. He was elected as the Governor of Jakarta in 2012, and later in 2014, he became the President of Indonesia. Jokowi is known for his populist policies, such as expanding access to healthcare and education, and improving infrastructure in Indonesia. He is also committed to fighting corruption, protecting the environment, and promoting economic growth in the country.
