Integration Testing for Functional and Technical Safety Compliance (ISO 26262-8:2018, Clause 9)

To provide evidence that the system architectural design is compliant with the functional safety and technical safety requirements, integration testing activities shall be performed in accordance with ISO 26262-8:2018, Clause 9 to check:

• a) The correct implementation of functional safety and technical safety requirements;
• b) The correct functional performance, accuracy and timing of safety mechanisms;
• c) The consistent and correct implementation of interfaces;
• d) Sufficient robustness
