Lost Passport in China: A Guide to Reporting and Replacement

Act 1

(Tom walks into the police station looking worried. Officer Zhang is sitting at his desk)

Tom: 'Excuse me, can I speak to someone about my lost passport?' (汤姆走进警察局，看起来很担心。张警官坐在他的办公桌前)

(Officer Zhang picks up the phone and dials a number. Officer Li enters the room)

Act 2

(Officer Li enters the room)

If you lose your passport, you should report it to the police as soon as possible. You also need to apply for a new passport at your embassy or consulate.'
