Beyond Money: Finding Meaning in Your Career

There are things that are more important than money in my heart. We cannot live without using material resources in this society, and the commodity economy is highly developed in our current stage of society. From our most basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and transportation, money is indispensable, let alone more advanced needs. It is no longer the kind of society where we can survive by farming and weaving. I will also seek a job in the future to earn a living, but I will not make money the highest pursuit of my life.

I believe that we only have one life and one chance to live it. The most important thing is to choose a career. Once we have chosen a career, we will have to work for it for decades in the future. As mentioned above, at this stage of society, we cannot survive by farming and weaving alone, and it is difficult to meet the needs of our wives and children. If we can choose a career that we love, then we will not have to work for the rest of our lives. I think the most important thing now is to understand our favorite career and prepare to become a part of the industry.
