Perfusion-Based Dynamic 3D Culture System for Triple-Cell-Type Endometrial Organoids in a Microfluidic Chip
To create a highly functional and innovative 3D culture system, endometrial organoids consisting of three distinct cell types were cultured within a commercial microfluidic chip. The chip was then subjected to perfusion via a flow pressure controller. This dynamic system provides a more physiologically relevant environment for studying endometrial function, compared to static culture methods. The use of a microfluidic chip allows for precise control over the microenvironment, including nutrient and oxygen delivery, as well as waste removal. The perfusion system enables continuous flow of media, mimicking the natural flow of blood and other fluids in the human body. This approach holds significant potential for advancing our understanding of endometrial biology and developing new therapeutic strategies for endometrial diseases.
