Paid Holiday Policy for Employees
Staff are entitled to 25 days of paid holidays per year. There is no prescribed period in which staff must take their holidays. However, outstanding holidays are to be taken at the discretion of the supervisor. All holiday requests must be applied for, in writing, no less than two weeks in advance. The right of refusal is reserved for all supervisors on behalf of the company. Holidays must be taken by the end of the first quarter of the following year, or they will be lost. Staff members are encouraged to negotiate holiday time with coworkers before approaching the supervisor, in order to ensure full coverage of all duties. In case of overlapping holiday requests, priority will be given to the more senior staff member.
