Urgent: Leaky Faucet & Water Damage in Kitchen & Bathroom - Photos & Videos Included
Firstly, thank you for arranging the repairman to come to my house last Thursday to fix the faucets in both the kitchen and the bathroom on the first floor.
After the repairman fixed the faucet in the bathroom on the first floor, the leaking became even more severe. The technician said that a new faucet needs to be replaced because the water waste and the cost of water bills would be very expensive due to the severe leakage in the bathroom on the first floor. Please arrange for a replacement of the new faucet as soon as possible.
Regarding the faucet in the kitchen, after it was replaced, I suddenly discovered water coming out from the cabinet on Sunday morning. When I opened the cabinet door under the sink, I found that the water hose connecting the sink to the main drainage was not properly connected. The waste water from the sink flowed directly into the cabinet through the drainage hose. Later on, when the water level reached a certain level, it flowed out from the cabinet door. I saw that there were holes in the wooden cabinet and I believe that the water had flowed to the ground from those holes. I immediately connected the sink hose to the main drainage and found that the drainage hose was also leaking every time I used the faucet, and water would seep out from the main drainage after each use.
Please refer to the photos and videos attached.
In addition, regarding the water stains on the dining room ceiling, your engineering technician said that it may be caused by water flowing out from the showerhead in the bathtub. In fact, the problem had already occurred with the previous tenant. However, repairing it would be very troublesome. Our only request is that there should be no water flowing out from any part. Please ensure this point.
