Abstract

Throttle valve is one of the key components in the automobile engine, and its performance directly affects the power, fuel consumption and emissions of the engine. This paper mainly introduces the manufacturing process and assembly process of throttle valve, including material selection, processing technology, surface treatment and precautions in the assembly process.

Firstly, this paper introduces the basic structure and working principle of throttle valve, and discusses the impact of throttle valve on engine performance. Then, for different types of throttle valve materials, their characteristics and processing technology are introduced respectively. Among them, aluminum alloy throttle valve is increasingly favored by automobile manufacturers because of its lightweight and high strength. For the processing technology of aluminum alloy throttle valve, this paper mainly introduces three processing methods: casting, forging and machining.

Next, this paper introduces the methods of surface treatment of throttle valve, including spraying, anodizing, electrophoretic coating, etc. These surface treatment technologies can improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics of throttle valve.

Finally, this paper introduces the assembly process of throttle valve through practical cases. In the assembly process, the matters needing attention include the installation position and direction of throttle valve, as well as the matching degree between throttle valve and accelerator pedal.
