TGFβ's Role in Tumor Angiogenesis: A Study on Overcoming Anti-angiogenic Effects
Despite the abundance of transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) and active angiogenesis in the tumor microenvironment, recent evidence suggests that TGFβ may actually inhibit physiological angiogenesis. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the role of TGFβ in tumor angiogenesis and uncover the mechanisms by which tumors overcome TGFβ's anti-angiogenic effects.
