China's National Theatre and Dingtuo Group Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

China's National Theatre and Dingtuo Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the morning of May 18th. Miao Muyang, Director of the Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Deputy Director Ma Li, Tian Qinxin, President of China's National Theatre, and Gong Baojiang, Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony along with Chen Xianghong, Vice President of China Tourism Association and Chairman of Dingtuo Group.

Tian Qinxin warmly welcomed the guests on behalf of China's National Theatre. She stated that the cooperation between China's National Theatre and Dingtuo Group had a deep foundation and had cooperated several times in the Wuzhen Theatre Festival sponsored by Wuzhen Tourism. From the closing play of the first session, 'Four Generations Under One Roof,' to the opening play of the second session, 'Green Snake,' and to the fifth session's youth version of 'Kuangbiao,' the theatre established a creative incubation base in Wuzhen in 2014. This collaboration between the two parties will set an example for cultural and tourism cooperation. She hoped that both parties could establish a sound and long-term contact mechanism, share resources, cooperate for mutual benefit, jointly open up a new era of cultural and tourism industries, contribute the power of literature and art to establish cultural confidence and self-improvement, forge a new socialist cultural brilliance, and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Chen Xianghong said that he believed that the cooperation between the team representing China's highest directorial level and the comprehensive cultural and tourism development and management company specializing in tourism destinations, characteristic towns, ancient cities, ancient towns, and ancient villages would bring about the '1+1 greater than 2' effect.
