Desipramine: KI and IC50 Values for Norepinephrine, Serotonin, and Dopamine Transporters

Desipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant that acts as a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. The KI (inhibition constant) and IC50 (half maximal inhibitory concentration) values of Desipramine to its targets are as follows:

• Norepinephrine transporter (NET): KI = 9.4 nM, IC50 = 4.2 nM
• Serotonin transporter (SERT): KI = 3,240 nM, IC50 = 1,800 nM
• Dopamine transporter (DAT): KI > 10,000 nM, IC50 > 10,000 nM
