The purified protein was concentrated to 16.7 mg/ml using a 3 kDa Amicon Ultra-15 centrifugal filter and subsequently crystallized using the sitting-drop vapor diffusion method at 17 °C, employing a commercial crystal screening kit (Hampton Research). The growing crystals were further optimized using the hanging-drop method at 17 °C. The final crystals used for data collection were obtained from the solution. The single crystals were flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen.
