ATE Firmware and ATPG Vectors: Comprehensive Testing of Digital and Analog Logic

ATE firmware is designed to be used in conjunction with ATPG vectors. ATPG vectors test the majority of the digital logic, while the ATE firmware will test many of the analog functions (PLL, LCDLs, IO drivers and receivers, ...) of the PHY and some of the digital logic that is not tested as part of the ATPG patterns (for example, some of the clock crossing paths).
