Joko Widodo, commonly referred to as 'Jokowi', is the current President of Indonesia. He was elected to the position in 2014 and re-elected in 2019. Prior to his presidency, Jokowi served as the Governor of Jakarta and Mayor of Solo. He is known for his populist and people-oriented policies, as well as his efforts to improve infrastructure and reduce poverty in Indonesia.
