To put it differently, the US government has implemented a series of fiscal stimulus programs. These programs include direct cash payments to individuals, increased unemployment insurance benefits, loans and subsidies for small businesses, among others. Additionally, there has been large-scale infrastructure construction and investment to promote economic recovery.
