Hybrid BP-TFLN Waveguide Photodetector with Mach-Zehnder Interferometer for Precise Absorption Measurement
A novel hybrid BP-TFLN waveguide photodetector (PD) is proposed, incorporating a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) structure and two grating couplers for light input and output. This design facilitates accurate quantification of the hybrid waveguide's absorption. As illustrated in Figure 1(a), the PD comprises an MZI structure, which is known for its sensitivity to variations in the refractive index. The two grating couplers efficiently couple light into and out of the waveguide, enabling precise measurement of the absorbed light. This configuration allows for the quantitative evaluation of the hybrid waveguide's absorption characteristics, providing valuable insights into its optical properties.
