NCAPG Expression Correlates with Poor Prognosis in Ovarian Cancer

To evaluate the relationship between NCAPG and ovarian cancer (OC), we first examined the expression of NCAPG using the GEPIA network tool. NCAPG mRNA expression was significantly increased in ovarian cancer (Figure 1a). Furthermore, Kaplan-Meier curves revealed that patients with high NCAPG expression had lower 5-year overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) rates compared to patients with low NCAPG expression (Figure 1b). Based on bioinformatics findings, we believe that NCAPG may be an important oncogene in OC, thus exploring its role in OC is necessary.
