In Study two, we will investigate the impact of environmental shock/disruption - such as acts of terrorism - on the adoption of AI innovation by firms. As evident from research (Dai et al., 2020), terrorism has a profound effect on a country's security and economic progress, causing significant ambiguity for firms in terms of their operations and strategic planning.
