Round 1: Friend: 'Hi, thank you so much for the birthday gift! It was really thoughtful of you.' Me: 'You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. What did you think of it?'

Round 2: Friend: 'I loved it! The color was perfect and it's something I've been wanting for a long time.' Me: 'I'm so happy to hear that. It's always a bit nerve-wracking picking out gifts.'

Round 3: Friend: 'Well, you nailed it this time. It was definitely one of my favorite gifts.' Me: 'Yay! That makes me really happy. Did you have a good birthday overall?'

Round 4: Friend: 'Yeah, it was really nice. I went out to dinner with my family and then had a small get-together with some friends.' Me: 'That sounds like fun. Did you get any other cool gifts?'

Round 5: Friend: 'Yeah, I got some nice things. But honestly, yours was my favorite.' Me: 'Aww, you're making me blush. I'm just glad I could make your day a little brighter.'

Round 6: Friend: 'You definitely did! I'm already using the gift and it's making my life easier.' Me: 'That's awesome! I love giving gifts that are actually useful.'
