After the right posterior intrahepatic bile duct was placed with PTCD drainage, the bile drainage was not smooth and the decrease in bilirubin was not significant. We found that the conventional ultrasound showed that the drainage tube was folded between the abdominal wall and the liver. Was the poor bile drainage caused by the folding? ICCEUS showed that the drainage tube was twisted and distorted between the abdominal wall and the liver, and was not inside the bile duct, which clarified the cause of poor bile drainage.
