Felt Trimming Technique: Achieving 305mm Width

Can you please share the method you used to trim the width of the felt to 305mm? We attempted to do it ourselves, but were unsuccessful due to the narrow excess part. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide us with your approach so we can use it in the future.
