Love Live! - The Idol Anime Franchise: Story, Music & Spin-offs

Love Live! is a Japanese multimedia project created by Hajime Yatate, Sakurako Kimino, and Takahiko Kyogoku. It began in 2010 with the release of a music video and has since expanded into an anime series, manga, mobile games, concerts, and more.

The story centers on a group of high school girls who form an idol group called 'μ's' (pronounced 'muse') in an effort to save their school from closure. They encounter various challenges and strive to achieve their dreams of becoming successful idols.

Love Live! has amassed a large and dedicated fan base both in Japan and globally. The franchise boasts multiple spin-off groups and has released numerous albums, singles, and merchandise. It has also inspired a live-action film and a sequel series titled Love Live! Sunshine!!
