Li Hua's Summer Vacation Plans: Beijing Trip, Volunteering, Language Course or Family Time

Dear Tom,

I hope this email finds you well. I apologize for not responding to your previous email sooner. I've been busy preparing for my final exams, which are taking place this week. Thank you for understanding.

As for my plans for the summer vacation, I've been giving it a lot of thought. There are several options that I'm considering, and I'd like to share them with you. Firstly, I'm thinking about taking a trip to Beijing. I've always wanted to visit the capital city of China and explore its rich history and culture. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. It would be an amazing opportunity to learn more about my own country's heritage.

Another option I'm considering is volunteering at a local orphanage. I've always had a passion for helping others, especially children in need. By volunteering at an orphanage, I would have the chance to make a positive impact on their lives and give back to the community. I believe it would be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.

Additionally, I'm contemplating taking a summer course at a language school. I've been studying English for many years, and I'd like to further improve my language skills. By immersing myself in an English-speaking environment, I believe I would be able to enhance my speaking and writing abilities. Moreover, the course would provide me with an opportunity to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Lastly, I'm also considering spending some time with my family. Due to my busy schedule during the school year, I haven't had much time to spend with them. I miss them dearly and would love to have a chance to reconnect and create lasting memories together. We could plan a short trip or simply spend quality time at home, enjoying each other's company.

Tom, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions regarding my summer plans. Do you have any recommendations or ideas that I should consider? I value your opinion, and I believe your input would greatly help me in making a decision. Also, I'd like to know what your own plans for the summer are. Are you planning any trips or activities?
