NYU Enrollment Deferral - Qiuhan Ye

Dear Admission Officer,

I sincerely hope this email finds you well and that you are staying safe and healthy during these challenging times.

I am writing to inform you that, unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I will not be able to enroll at NYU for the upcoming semester. I understand that this may cause inconvenience and I would like to express my deepest apologies for any trouble my decision may have caused. I also want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for the privilege of being admitted to such a prestigious institution.

I am truly grateful for the support and guidance that NYU has provided me throughout the admission process. I have no doubt that the education I would have received at NYU would have been invaluable in shaping my future career. However, I have come to the difficult decision that it is in my best interest to defer my enrollment at this time.

I would like to thank you and the entire admissions team for your understanding and support during this process. Please let me know if there are any further steps I need to take and I will do my very best to ensure a smooth transition.
