Project Status Update: Reducing False Positives and Enhancing Enforcement Education

The project status update includes several key points. Firstly, TSE will be prioritizing 'tool error' and 'investigator error' to work with central teams in order to improve tooling and handling to reduce false positives and ultimately achieve our goal. Additionally, SQ has proposed focusing on the 'new evidence' reason code, which could potentially support pre-enforcement education to request Sellers to prepare appeal documents early on for copyright, trademark, and patent enforcement. We plan to request weekly data from TSE to support our deep dive into specific Seller groups and enforcement types for educational purposes. Through ongoing analysis, we aim to collaborate with education SMEs to implement training programs and monitor output by evaluating weekly data. Overall, these initiatives aim to improve our processes and reduce errors in enforcement.
