Online newspaper has advantages over paper newspaper. Firstly, it is lee energy-consuming than paper newspaper which are made from countless tresses. Secondly, it is more convenient for people to read news online, with portable electronic devices, such as mobile phone, getting information from both home and abroad is available as long as there is internet connection. By contrast, the content in printed newspaper is too limited to get massive and lasted information. Thirdly, when reading news online, it is easy to share out reviews with others in the comment area and there are some videos and vivid pictures related to the news and that will get ourselves involved in the news we read.

Although reading news online is advantages, paper newspaper has its own strength that can not be ignored. It will not cause so much damage to our eyesight as electric screen. In addition, for some elder people, who seldom use mobile phones, reading printed newspaper remains still a necessary way for them to know what happen in the world.

In conclusion, reading news online is very popular and common in modern society while the traditional printed newspaper can not be entirely replaced.
