My Crazy Accounting Internship: How I Survived a Month of Overtime & Learned to Handle Anything

One thing I'm super proud of is that I stuck it out during my winter break gig at an accounting firm. During the annual audit, we were slammed with work, and for a couple of weeks, I was pulling overtime with my co-workers until way past 9 pm. I even had to work on Saturdays, and at one point, they sent me out of town for a week. All that commuting and lack of sleep really wore me out. Plus, I wasn't even an accounting major, so I had to learn everything from scratch. Honestly, there were times when I wanted to throw in the towel, but I pushed through and finished the internship. Now, I feel like I can handle any stress that comes my way.
