Smart City Application Development: A Comprehensive Solution Using uniapp and uView

Smart city applications are an important part of smart city construction, which can provide convenient and efficient service experiences for urban residents and promote the construction and development of smart cities. In this context, this article participated in the 'Smart City' category of the mobile application development competition hosted by Neusoft Group. Using the uniapp and uView technology stack, a smart city application was developed. The application includes modules such as login registration, news and information, weather information, advertising carousel, parking, city subway, takeaway ordering, job search, house search, smart traffic management, life payment, movie watching, smart bus, outpatient appointment, volunteer activities, legal consultation, garbage classification, public welfare, pet hospital, digital library, government service hotline, youth station, etc., covering all aspects of urban life.

This article first introduces the background and current development status of smart city applications, analyzes the problems and needs of current application development. Then, it details the functions and technical implementation of each module, including development platforms, technology selection, interface design, and functional implementation. Finally, the application is tested and optimized, and the prospects and challenges of future development are discussed.
