Green Credit Classification Standards: Enhancing Environmental and Social Responsibility
The Bank has developed and enhanced its green credit classification standards and management system, utilizing the Equator Principles and the IFC performance standards and guidelines. This has been done while considering China's national conditions and the Bank's own management requirements. The Bank evaluates the environmental impact of borrowing enterprises and their level of environmental and social risks.
