Robust Flight Control for Fighter Aircraft with Model Uncertainty and External Disturbances
A robust controller was designed to address the problem of aircraft flight control under model uncertainty and external disturbances, by utilizing a newly designed disturbance observer to estimate and compensate for the unknown composite disturbances in the system, and combining it with an improved dynamic surface control method. Simulation results of high angle of attack maneuvers show that the designed controller is effective in tracking the reference signal under highly uncertain aerodynamic parameters and non-differentiable external disturbances, and exhibits good robustness.
