My Childhood Best Friend: A Lifelong Bond

I've got a buddy who I've known since birth because we were born in the same year and lived next door to each other. Her parents were teachers, and we lived in the teachers' apartment on campus at that time.

We grew up playing together, going to primary school, and doing homework together. I remember when we were in elementary school, Barbie dolls were all the rage, and we used to make houses for them out of cardboard boxes and clothes out of scraps of fabric. My friend has always had a great talent for design and came up with some super creative ideas. We used to take walks together after dinner or watch Disney movies in her house.

But when we were in junior high school, her parents got a job in another place, and we lost touch because neither of us had mobile phones. However, it was amazing when we reconnected in college because we didn't feel strange or awkward at all, even though we hadn't seen each other in six years. We talked about everything like we used to.
