Supergirl: DC Comics Heroine, Cousin of Superman

Supergirl is a superhero character from the DC Comics universe. Her real name is Kara Zor-El and she's the cousin of Superman. She was sent to Earth from the planet Krypton to protect her from its destruction. Upon arriving on Earth, she was adopted by the Danvers family and given the name Kara Danvers. She possesses similar powers to Superman, including flight, super strength, and heat vision. Supergirl fights against evil and protects the innocent, often alongside other heroes from the DC Universe. She has been adapted into various television shows, movies, and video games.
