Request for Clarification and Updated Construction Drawings for MW-01 Monitoring

Furthermore, regarding the MW-01 monitoring construction drawings, we refer to the aforementioned letter 2. The contractor has received the initial set of construction drawings issued by the engineer. However, these drawings are identical to the tender drawings and lack clarity in several areas.

Specifically, the drawings do not sufficiently specify the following:

• Quantities of engineering measurements for each monitoring section
• Number of monitoring instruments required for each corresponding section
• Cable pulling directions
• Temporary measurement station locations

This lack of clarity has already led to complications. In the case of MW-02, design changes rendered the purchased monitoring equipment unusable.

To avoid similar situations, we request the engineer to promptly issue updated construction drawings with clear instructions regarding the aforementioned details. Providing these specifications will ensure the project proceeds smoothly and efficiently.
