Impact of Riverine Lithogenic Material on POC Flux in Estuaries: A Modeling Study

When RLM diffuses outward from the continental shelf and slope into the open sea, the variation magnitude of POC flux in the middle-upper layer of the water column at the river mouth is consistently significantly smaller than the simulated results of the impact of lithogenic materials only in the estuary area or diffusion into the open sea at the ocean surface.
