My Coming-of-Age Ceremony: A Memorable Experience
Dear Chris,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share with you about the 'coming-of-age ceremony' that my school held on June 8th. It was a really special event that marked our transition into adulthood.
The ceremony began with an opening speech by our principal, followed by a traditional dance performance by some of our classmates. Then, each of us received a certificate of achievement and a red scarf, which symbolizes our new status as adults. Finally, we all lit candles and made a vow to be responsible citizens and contribute positively to society.
Personally, I felt a mix of emotions during the ceremony. On one hand, I was proud to have reached this milestone and excited for the new opportunities and responsibilities that come with adulthood. On the other hand, I felt a bit sad to leave behind the carefree days of childhood.
Looking to the future, I have many goals and aspirations. I plan to attend university and study engineering, and ultimately work in the renewable energy industry. I also hope to travel the world and experience different cultures. Most importantly, I want to make a positive impact on the world and leave a lasting legacy.
Overall, the 'coming-of-age ceremony' was a memorable and meaningful experience for me. I'm glad to have shared it with my classmates and to have officially entered adulthood.
Best regards,
Li Jin
