Is Sincere Help Measurable? Exploring the Complexities of Evaluating Expertise

Whether someone is sincere or not, there is never a definitive standard to determine it. This is because different people can have different experiences when seeking the same 'master.' Additionally, when the master helps the disciple, the situation and considerations are not always stable like a machine, and even a small mistake can lead to vastly different results. Therefore, people turn to money as a means of comparison because it is measurable and can be added and subtracted.

However, this also leads to different people having different financial burdens and, therefore, different evaluations. Even though money seems like a feasible means of comparison, due to different financial situations, it can lead to varying evaluations. For example, one thousand dollars can be considered cheap or expensive.

When evaluating factors such as price, feeling, effectiveness/attitude, etc., the result is complex and dependent on human nature, which tends to simplify things (often seen as laziness). Thus, simple negative evaluations are common.
