Small Grants for Inclusive Local Services & CSO Capacity Building

Small grants will be provided to reinforce learning by doing and to enable CSOs to implement community actions to foster inclusive access to local services. Criteria for small grant awards will include elements related to governance and organizational policy development to reinforce result one capacity development outcomes. Through small grant application and management, CSOs will build operational capacities in proposal writing, project cycle management, implementing local inclusive development advocacy strategies and grants management. Criteria for small grant awards will also require a rights-based approach for all local CSO actions to build on the outcomes of result two and to ensure promotion of the twin track approach to sustainable disability inclusive service provision. Implementation of small grant activities by local CSOs will support empowerment of people with disabilities and/or their family members and inclusion of people with disabilities in local services.
