Droplet Size Distribution Analysis of Pickering Emulsions using Malvern MasterSizer 3000
The Malvern MasterSizer 3000 (Malvern Instruments Ltd, Worcestershire, UK) was utilized to determine the droplet size distribution of Pickering emulsions. The droplet size was reported as the volume-average diameter, d4, 3 = Σnidi4Σnidi3, where ni represents the number of particles with diameter di. The refractive indices of water and sunflower oil were considered as 1.33 and 1.52, respectively.
