You see, everything that happens to us is because of something that happened in the past. It's like planting a seed and getting a plant, or planting a bean and getting a bean. And let me tell you, our future can be predicted based on our current situation. That's called determinism. Some people think it's crazy, unscientific, but even Einstein believed in it. He said, 'I believe in complete determinism, like a perfectly tuned clock.' It's like fate, you know, like in that Greek myth about Oedipus. When he was born, someone predicted he would kill his father and marry his mother. So his dad left him to die in the wilderness, but he was found and raised by another family. When he grew up, he found out about the prophecy and tried to avoid it, but he ended up killing a stranger in a fit of rage, who happened to be his real father, and then he married his real mother. Talk about a messed up fate, am I right? But you see folks, that's the thing about fate, you can't run away from it. It's like a bad smell, it just follows you around.
