Fed Chair Powell, You're Fired! Why Can't He Be Like Volcker?

Ladies and gentlemen, have you heard about this guy, this Fed Chair Powell? He's supposed to be the smartest guy in the room, but why can't he learn from the great Paul Volcker of the 80s? Remember when Volcker raised interest rates to 20% and brought inflation down? Now, we've got this guy Powell, who can't even raise rates to 2% without causing a panic. Maybe he needs to drink some Volcker juice or something.

But listen, folks, that was the 80s. Today, our government debt is over 130% of GDP and households are over 70% in debt. Who knows what's going to happen if we raise rates like crazy? Maybe other countries will follow suit, or maybe we'll just go bankrupt first. It's not looking good, folks. Not looking good at all.
