To preclude overlooking genes exhibiting substantial yet subtle functional discrepancies, we conducted GSEA enrichment analysis encompassing all genes within the dataset. GSEA results indicated potential associations between IHF and processes such as 'Antigen processing and presentation', 'Apoptosis', 'Proteasome', and 'Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation', encompassing biological functions such as programmed cell death, inflammation, and immunity. Subsequently, we intersected the differentially expressed genes with key module genes identified through WGCNA, yielding 92 crucial IHF genes. These IHF key genes underwent GO and KEGG enrichment analyses. GO analysis categories encompassed Biological Processes (BP), Cellular Components (CC), and Molecular Functions (MF), presenting the top five results for each category. As KEGG enrichment analysis yielded a limited number of pathways, all enriched results are presented. Visual representations are depicted in Figure 4.
