Blum Kulka: Linguistics Expert in Cross-Cultural Communication and Second Language Acquisition

Blum Kulka is a linguist and professor emerita of Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is known for her research in cross-cultural pragmatics, intercultural communication, and second language acquisition. She has published numerous books and articles on these topics, including 'Interlanguage Pragmatics: The Case of Requests' and 'Cross-Cultural Pragmatics: Requests and Apologies.' Blum Kulka has also served as the president of the International Pragmatics Association and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the field of linguistics.
