In order to synthesize the themes of this study, the author initially organized the interview data and subsequently conducted an analysis. The study resulted in the identification of two major themes: 1) the level of engagement exhibited by high school students participating in online English learning, and 2) the academic self-efficacy of high school students in relation to online English learning.
