Evaluating Fracturing Fluid Stability: Thermal and Shear Resilience Using HAAKE RheoStress 6000
The thermal and shear resilience of fracturing fluid systems is critical for successful well stimulation. This study utilizes the HAAKE RheoStress 6000 instrument to evaluate these properties. The test protocol involves subjecting the fluid to a constant shear rate of 100s-1 while progressively increasing the temperature from 25℃ to 120℃. The elevated temperature is maintained for 120 minutes to assess the fluid's ability to retain its viscosity under these conditions. This evaluation provides valuable insights into the fluid's performance and stability in high-temperature and high-shear environments encountered during hydraulic fracturing operations.
